About

Organic Philosophy:
Cooking for me is an act of giving, passion and sharing. Food is such an integral part of our lives, family and friends, and it is a privilege to be able to create something that essential. “We are what we eat,” is an often referred phrase and I truly believe it. I take great pride in being a part of something that brings people together; therefore, I always cook with love and passion. I enjoy inspiring people to become more aware of the act of home cooking and sharing meals the way we have done it for generations. With that said, a chef is only as good as his ingredients. I strive to choose organic and sustainable foods, not only because it tastes better, but it is also much more nutritious and respectful to nature.
About Me:
I grew up in Sweden in a very idyllic community and as a child I was always included in the kitchen. My grandmother was a great cook and she taught me all the traditional ways of cooking. Although the Swedish meatballs are one of my signature dishes, that I bring everywhere, I will never be able to make them like my grandmother did. I continued to cook and by the early age of 16 I had developed a tremendous interest in food, nutrition and exercise, which led me into obtaining a certificate in fitness and nutrition. There was not one single day where I would not bring my own lunch to school!
I moved to London where I formed a personal training and nutrition company, and also got involved with a high end catering company. As part of the catering company, I had the great privilege to work at exclusive events such as: The Christmas Party for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle and Queen Elizabeth’s Staff Party at Buckingham Palace. Additionally, we provided catering services for AIDS fundraising galas at Kensington Palace with beneficiaries such as Elton John, and many others. We also did exclusive weddings and much more.
After gaining great experience while in London, I decided to expand my education into the arts and applied to the Theatre Arts Program at Santa Monica College in California. I was accepted and alongside my studies, I started working with different catering companies and other acclaimed chefs in Los Angeles. After graduation, I formed my own catering company which caters to a full spectrum of clients from private to corporate. Most recently I have been a part of events such as, exclusive wrap parties for the Recording Academy and a pairing dinner with former Governor of California, Jerry Brown. During this time, I also completed “The EASY Way to Organic Cooking,” which is a personal compilation of my own favorite easy to make organic recipes. In addition, I have worked closely with chef and author Brigitte Britton in several “I AM Workshops,” empowering people in how to cook organic food. Since then I have also graduated with a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance from the prestigious ‘Le Cordon Bleu’ Culinary School of North America.
