Serves 4-6 · main course · 5 ingredients
Black and white sesame seeds on one side only — the side opposite the skin. Sear the skin side first, then turn carefully so the crust stays where you put it.

Ingredients
What you need
- 1½ lbs. salmon, sliced in 1 inch pieces
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- ½ - ¾ cup black and white sesame seeds
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Serves 4-6.
Method
How to make it
Make a marinade with the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and let the salmon sit in it for a few minutes. Pour the sesame seeds on a flat plate, and dip it each piece of the salmon into the seeds on the side opposite of the skin. Heat a skillet with some butter and olive oil and sear the side with the skin first. After 3 min.
or so, turn them over carefully so the seeds remain on the surface; peel off the skin with a fork, or leave on if desired. Turn them over again in order to not brown the seeds too much and cook on low heat until done. You can also cover the pan with a lid or put the pan in the oven for a few minutes.
